


Alastair Douglas
Alastair was called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn in 2006. Having then worked for the shadow attorney general he later cross qualified to become a solicitor and has specialised in criminal law. He has worked on one of the largest fraud cases to go to trial in the UK, dealt with writs for Habeas Corpus and undertaken a variety of motoring defence work.
Alastair represents clients in all areas of Criminal Law including murder and manslaughter, sexual offences, offences involving violence, drugs offences, dishonesty offences, criminal damage, and driving offences.
As a duty solicitor he regularly attends police stations and magistrates courts where he upholds defendants rights which have come under increasing pressure from legislative changes.
